Tight Rope
The newest technique for repairing canine anterior cruciate ligaments is called the TightRope Method and has been developed by Arthrex Veterinary Orthopedics Products. Dr. Timothy Duncan has attended continuing education in this specific technique and offers this procedure to our patients.
The TightRope technique involves implanting a very high tech and strong material through tunnels drilled in the femur and tibia to stabilize the stile joint. This method has its place as a minimally invasive technique; however it may not be suitable for every patient. Dr. Timothy Duncan offers several techniques to surgical repair the cruciate ligament and can select the best surgical method for your pet to keep playing fetch.
